Friend -- If you're working on your New Year's resolutions, I have a suggestion: Keep being the kind of person who fights for what you believe in -- tell OFA what's at the top of your agenda for 2015. Whatever your goals are for 2015, that's one thing I hope never changes. OFA is about stepping up to be part of something bigger than yourself -- it's a little about your ambitions, and a lot about what you're willing to dedicate yourself to. These fights aren't easy, but that doesn't scare people like you and me. I have two years left as your president. The work you do with OFA -- no matter what it is that drives you to fight for change -- is so important. Let's give it everything we've got. Tell OFA what you're fired up to fight for in the new year: http://my.barackobama.com/Take-the-OFA-2015-Survey Thank you, Barack Obama |

Friend -- In a few days, the final Congress of my presidency will take their oaths of office. I'm committed to working with anyone from either party to put the American people first. Still, I know there will be plenty of obstacles in our way. We've never let it stop us before -- on so many of the big issues we've taken on, from health care to immigration to climate change, we've made real, undeniable progress. And we're not done, as long as we keep fighting together. We all have a motivation that drives us to fight for change. That's not something anyone else can decide for you -- tell OFA what's at the top of your agenda for the months ahead: http://my.barackobama.com/Take-the-OFA-2015-Survey Thank you, Barack Obama |

Friend -- Some folks have started to call this the "fourth quarter" of my presidency. In a game, with the clock ticking down, that's when you want your best team out there. That's what this email is about. It's because of folks like you that I'm able to give this everything I've got in the next two years. The work you do with groups like OFA is how we win real progress. I need to know you'll be there, too, fighting to finish what you started with OFA. There's a lot left to do, and it's no secret that we'll have our work cut out for us in Congress. But I believe there's still so much good we can do for the American people. Millions of folks still need to get health coverage. And there are still big steps we need to take to combat climate change. I'm going to do everything I can as president to make real progress. So let's go: http://my.barackobama.com/Recommit-for-2015 Thank you, Barack Obama |

Before the year is out, I want to say thank you. You're doing your part, staying engaged. When it's easy to get frustrated or cynical, you refuse that choice. People like you care about making real, lasting change -- and it shows in what you do. I'm asking you to keep doing what you do best with OFA, because it matters. This has never been about winning at politics. You and I are here to try to do what we can to help make people's lives better -- in big ways and small. And we are. Just this year, millions of Americans signed up for affordable health care coverage. We're making it possible for eligible undocumented immigrants to come out of the shadows, contribute more fully to our economy, and help keep their families together. And we've taken smart, proactive steps to protect our communities from climate change, and help stop the carbon emissions that are contributing to it. In every one of those fights, we've been up against powerful opponents with plenty of money to spend to block our progress. You've proven that a grassroots movement like OFA can take them on. I have two years left as your president -- I'm ready to give it all I got. Are you? http://my.barackobama.com/Recommit-for-2015 Thank you, Barack Obama |

Friend -- A lot has changed in the six years I've been president. As I look ahead at my final two years in office, I want you to know two things: 1.) I'm so proud of the progress we've made together so far. Thank you. Because of folks like you, we've been able to accomplish incredible things -- change that is making people's lives better today. That's the reason we do this work. 2.) I'm not done. I won't stop fighting for the American people until the day I leave this office. That's a promise. No matter how much partisan gridlock gets in the way or how powerful some special interests seem, I know we can keep making real, lasting change. I can't do it alone. That's as true today as it was at the start. So, I hope you're ready to go -- say you'll keep fighting alongside OFA any way you can in 2015: http://my.barackobama.com/Recommit-for-2015 Thank you, Barack Obama |

Dear Dr. Kuric,
The Open Analytical Chemistry Journal is an open access online journal which publishes original research articles, reviews and guest edited thematic issues representing important scientific progress from all areas of analytical chemistry. It is indexed in all major indexing databases such Chemical Abstracts, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Open J-Gate, Genamics JournalSeek, MediaFinder®-Standard Periodical Directory, EMBASE, Scopus, PubsHub, J-Gate and Index Copernicus.
Please visit the journal's homepage for more information e.g. aims and Scope, editorial board list, indexing media and Instructions for authors’ athttp://www.bentham-open.com/toacj/index.htm .
In addition to regular articles, the journal also publishes thematic issues on contemporary themes which are guest edited by eminent scientists.
It is my pleasure to invite you to submit a proposal to guest edit a thematic issue for The Open Analytical Chemistry Journal. Thematic issues consist of 6 to 20 articles (all review articles or a mixture of review and research articles) from leading international contributors from technologically advanced countries. The Guest Editors' main editorial tasks are to invite the contributors and to manage the peer- review of all submitted manuscripts. Your written proposal should outline the importance of the theme selected for your issue, and list the names and affiliations of all possible contributing authors as well as the date of submission for publication of the entire issue. Your proposal will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and the publishers and a decision whether or not to publish will be sent to you promptly.
All articles of your guest edited Thematic Issue would be published FREE of all author open access fees.
The benefits of publishing in The Open Analytical Chemistry Journal as compared to a traditional subscription journal are:
- Articles can be read by a potentially much larger audience.
- Published articles are FREE to view, download and to print.
- Articles have the potential to obtain greater citations.
- Authors own the copyright to their published articles under a non-commercial license.
- Articles are peer-reviewed and published rapidly.
- Lower than average article processing fees with discounts to authors from developing countries.
- Special FEE Waiver to authors from low-income economies. Refer to the complete list of these countries at http://www.bentham-open.com/specialOffer.htm
- Members of Bentham OPEN are entitled to discounts on the Standard Open Access charges; details are available at http://www.bentham-open.com/oaMembership.php
Thank you in advance for your submission to The Open Analytical Chemistry Journal.
Any queries should be addressed to editorial@benthamscience.org
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
With kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
Bentham OPEN
